greetings I was wondering if some of you could make some suggestions for new music. New, as in something that is boundary breaking, beautiful, tongue-in-cheek, heartfelt, and/or anything you believe everyone should hear. It doesn't have to be idm specific, as most posts on here don't seem to be anyway...no complaints. I just need to hear something NEW. thanks ak

Haven't heard this - but the 'parent album' Trein Maersk by Icebreaker International is also worth a listen (in that "delicate sound sculptures" vein). Although it doesn't fall into the new category - it's from late 2000. I * On 14 Aug 2004 at 11:30, David Newman wrote:

walked into etherea records yesterday and spotted the apparat EP on neo ouija. i picked it up and i like it, but what really turned my head were the sounds coming out of the speakers. turned out to be the first new album by bark psychosis in 10 years. it's a pretty great mix of mellow music and intereting sounds, from shoegazer to experimental to slowcore to jazzy chords to electronic loops and textures. good stuff. http://www.barkpsychosis.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Lackluster - remixselection_one: http://www.lackluster.org/ 12 remixes by Esa Ruoho, aka Lackluster, of Proem, Global Goon, Multiplex, etc. Phenomenal stuff, and it's not getting anywhere near the attention that it deserves. You want "beautiful", you want "heartfelt", then this album, 'remixselection_one', is what you want! seek np: Lackluster - Showcase --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Definitely. And then spend a buck (or several!) and send a donation to Lackluster via Paypal: there's a link somewhere on Lackluster's site. http://www.lackluster.org seek
