Machine Drum Across Texas Hello IDM heads. We don't get a lot of IDM shows in Texas, so I'm pleased to announce that Machine Drum will be playing 2 dates in Texas. Friday July 2nd - Denton, TX Brickhaus Cafe 219 W Oak St 9pm SHARP - show will be over by MIDNIGHT! Machine Drum w/ Freeze Tag $5 Saturday July 3rd - Austin, TX Gallery Lombardi 910 W 3rd St 9pm to 2am Machine Drum w/ Freeze Tag (or DJ Homeschool) and other local live PAs/DJs $unknown If you're in Texas, come on out and support these shows so we can have more. Nothing's better than going to a club owner knowing that you can draw a crowd. Same thing for knowing you'll be able to pay an act's guarantee. If you don't support this stuff, this stuff won't happen. Machine Drum? It's accessible IDM hiphop with melodies and samples. If you like Boards of Canada, you'll probably like Machine Drum. Heck, even indie rock kids have been known to like Machine Drum. It's that good. Get a taste at http://www.machinedrum.net - even the jerks at Pitchfork gave his debut a 9/10. If you like Octopus Project, well, you might like Machine Drum. Freeze Tag? Well, that's me and my friend Trey. I'm an awful DJ, he's there to balance me out. We'll see how that goes.
