for those of you scratching your head looking for the fader on your 1200... he is incorrectly using
the term "fader" to refer to the linearly-controlled potentiometer (or "pot") that is used inside
the 1200 for the trim adjustment. this is the same type of variable-resistsance electronic device
commonly used in mixers for the fader, in graphic equalizers for the +/-ndB adjustment for each
band, and for studio mixer line-level gain controls, etc.
