I won't be the only one to answer this, so I'm not going to delve into the history too deeply - but basically Pritchard & Middleton have recorded under a myriad different names, depending on what kind of output they're producing. There's the Jedi Knights, Chaos & Julia Set, Reload, Link & E621, Pulusha - um, err, mind's gone blank - but if you like 76:14, in their more ambient guise you MUST find their reworking of Chapterhouse's Blood Music, titled Pentamerous Metamorphosis. Well there are many more releases than this but off the top of my head I recommend these: Reload - A collection of short stories (Infonet) Remotion: the Global Communication remix album (Dedicated) Global Communication - Blood Music - Pentamerous Metamorphosis (umm.. Creation? - it's a reworking of a Chapterhouse album) Reload - Auto Reload EP Volume 2 (Evolution) (with truly beautiful Black Dog remix among other classics) "Various Artists" (not all that various though, it's mainly Tom and Mark) - The Theory of Evolution (Warp) And in a different vein they did some great electro: Jedi Knights - New School Science (Universal Language) You can find out more on these websites... Universal Language Productions http://www.ulp.co.uk/ and this is the old site with a very useful discography... http://www.ulp.co.uk/me/me.html Ross. ----- Original Message ----- From: "me makes you" <woolydogeater@hotmail.com> To: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Friday, November 03, 2000 4:34 PM Subject: [idm] what ever happened to...

they (2 people) also did reload, and did jedi knights (compilation lp out at the moment) its all a lot more house based with some electro boits: pretty dull......one half (tom middleton) has got quite a name for himself on the house circuit (a mixmag comp. was released a year or so back)...however george lucas took exception to the use of 'jedi'so name change is imminent _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. Jega? It's been four long years since his last release (Geometry- which is still really amazing) and his website (jega.com) hasn't been updated in three years. Not that the website has any useful information on it anyway. There's a really vague statement on the Planet Mu website about his "next release", but then again that's just after it calls Geometry his "new opus" so that obviously hasn't been updated in a while either. Anybody know if he's still making music or did he bail out?

I have what may or may not be that album here, I can't really confirm if it is, but _if_ this is the real album, it doesn't even come close to the magic of Geometry -- as a whole. Which may explain the delay in getting it out. It has some nice moments, but overall this is one of the thinnest albums I've heard in quite some time. he posts on the mu message board every once in a while, you should ask around there.. I'm fairly sure he still makes music, I haven't heard of him playing out anywhere recently though. geometry was a great album, I'm going to have to pop that one in again, its been a while. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
