Alright, since my web site is apparently down right now here's the scoop for
Saturday night
It is a house party, BYOB, at a mansion right off the freeway that's really
easy to get to. We're trying to set up a good scene in California for those
of us who don't want to go up to San Francisco every time something cool is
happening, personally I can barely afford the gas at this point.
As Basura said, he will be spinning electro and IDM, a friend spinning a
scratch set with hip hop, Jason Kristos will be spinning breaks, and I'm
spinning some IDM and anything with a jazz flare to it
To get there from San Jose/San Francisco...
- Highway 17 South towards Santa Cruz
- Take the Mt. Hermon exit, you will see the hilton straight ahead after you
exit
- Take a right on Mt. Hermon.
- Take a left at the first light, you will be inside a small shopping center
with a lit sign for angels of the sea Look up to your left, the large white
house is where you're headed.
- Go around the shopping center and up the private driveway.
Please try and park on the right side of the driveway and if you HAVE to
park downstairs, there is a chance there will be cops around because it is a
private parking lot, so be careful and above all, be respectful or we can't
do this again.
If you need a place to crash I'll need to know ASAP, but this house is huge,
there are couches and a couple air mattresses, I already have a couple of
people staying, and will need to know quick.
Also, if you DJ or do a live set and would like to play at my place, we are
going to be throwing these parties every two weeks or so if everything goes
smoothly tomorrow night. Contact me if interested with the type of music you
play, etc, and we'll go from there
