just wondering what everyone thought about the new amen andrews ep's put out by luke vibert? i think they are super fucking wicked awesome. i havent heard his new album yoseph yet(if its even out), i know there are copies going around, but anyones thoughts on that would be great too. i heard the sampler i love acid and synthax and they were pretty kewl acid grooves. cheers. d

Does anyone know if these are supposed to come out on CD at some point? I've been thinking about buying the EPs all summer, but I'd rather have it on CD than vinyl and I don't want to buy all of the vinyl releases and then have a CD come out the week after. I have just got the 5th record and to complete the series. The tunes sound great at home but I heard Cylob playing them out a couple of weeks ago and last night at a do I organised and they sounded awesome. Everyone really dug the Old Skool sounds with Luke's wicked production. I've got the last installments on the way in the mail - these tracks are new classics to be sure. Borrowing from old school hard core/ d n b / jungle sound these give a nod to the past classics while uping the ante. With a Plug-ian flare these are straight forward mad tracks with less cinema and more mental mash. (mis)Judging from what I've heard of the 2 tracks from the "I Love Acid" release I'd say his "Yoseph" may more likely lead toward that toward that groovy quality, than the Amen Andrews series. -p DJSTiK420@aol.com wrote:
