apropos Kraftwerk...there is Señor Coconut (aka atom heart) worth to mention. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWbZWB4l9Vg&list=PL86C678C9E3D2BD90 ok, in that case it is a bit different. as i know he went to latin-/south american flea markets to get old records for sampling and created that album out of that. to bring it on live stage he was casting musicians who learned to play that album with live instruments. but anyway an interesting outcome : ) Am 29.10.2014 um 09:28 schrieb Aleks tresorg <alex@tresorg.com>:

Curious thing, listening to Alarm Will Sound .. i find humans to be quite less accurate with timing than machines. Even it sounds more organic, does anybody else get that feeleng of need for more precision? :) On Wed, Oct 29, 2014 at 10:49 AM, Wim Vogel <wim.vogel@gmail.com> wrote:

I own Alarm… Plays Aphex Twin and had been to their live concert (no dancing though). Acoustic instruments add a very interesting feel to the whole thing. The most pronounced effect for me though, I guess, was “The symphonic Jean Michel Jarre” (not by Alarm…) – orchestral arrangement added a lot of depth to sound. Thanks.
