Well, if anything - that track definitely sounds like an Aphex Twin rip-off to me, but a good one at that... ^_^ -- Kurt Bernhard Pruenner --- Haendelstrasse 17 --- 4020 Linz --- Austria .......It might be written "Mindfuck", but it's spelt "L-A-I-N"....... np: Gas - Track 7 (Pop) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

"Start As You Mean To Go On" off "...I Care Because You Do" If those tracks don't sound similar, I'll eat one of the discs... ;) -- Kurt Bernhard Pruenner --- Haendelstrasse 17 --- 4020 Linz --- Austria .......It might be written "Mindfuck", but it's spelt "L-A-I-N"....... np: SolarX - Marmilad Sticker (Komfort.Labor Presents Native Lab comp.) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

For some reason, I am only now getting around to listening to Solar X and I feel so stupid for waiting. I remember some IDM folks in the '98 suggesting "Little Pretty Automatic" and it slipped my mind literally until '03. What a mistake! "Dasha 1,2,3,4" ("Richard?"....*klank* "Yeh?")makes me suddenly very nostalgic for the '96-'98 heyday of so many good releases (RDJ album, Lunatic Harness, Hard Normal Daddy, etc.). You don't really hear much stuff that's more straight-forward now that everybody rides DSP like the 25 cent rides in front of Wal-Mart and gets off on the sextuplet glitches in 12/8 time. I don't know- maybe I'm just getting too maudlin. Anyway, for the real question. I am seeing some Solar X material from 1995 and given the fact that it sounds *exactly* like stuff off of the RDJ Lp, I wonder who staked the skittery, monosynth melody claim of the late nineties? There's not much on the net. Later all Counts __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
