event note: clonk is in danger of extinction
this event is to try to recoupe lost funds from our
last event,
raise money for our stage at the om festival and
at the same time to help out a friend with legal costs
incurred from an arrest at last summers reclaim the
streets gathering here in toronto.
note: all live pas being at midnight sharp so try to
arrive earlier to

tom kuo - dj [wabi, liminal] set time: 2:00-3:00
resident dj for the wabi collective and cheif sound
designer for the
liminal collecitve tom kuo (aka task) has been moving
dance floors in this
city now for years. Tom will be closing out the night
with a selection of
his deepest tracks to help keep the floor bumping and
moving untill the
wee hours of the night.

cofounder of the technot collective utility has been
pushing the
boundries of dj culture here in toronto for many years
now, if hes not
exposing us to the newest in broken beat idm and
minimalism he is
performing lock groove dj sets with real time dsp
processing recreating
and recontextualising sound.

otaku - dj [wabi] set time: 10:30-11:30
what more can I say this wabi collective resident, he
is quickly becoming
a clonk favorite playing his brand of deep dubby
techno and left
feild click minimalism. otaku left many a jaw open
when he opened our
night for the monolake event back in feb and we have
been looking forward
to having him back ever since. saturday night marks
the first time he will
be gracing the decks since that date and we are
waiting with baited breath
to see what tasty morcels he will drop from us that
night.

jah reverend - dj [promise] set time: 9:00-10:30
a new comer to the world of clonk but we hope not for
long, this dub dj
has been playing around this city for some time, yet
to bediscovered by
clonk ears untill this coming saturday night expect a
special set of dub
in all its forms with a decks and efx set to open up
the evening and set
the mood for the night. so show up early to catch this
new addition to the
rotation of clonky djs.

resident clonk visual/spacial artist will continue her
on going visual
onslaught of gritty grainy out of focus visuals that
garnered such great
reviews at our last event.
medusa - spacial design [medusa]
medusa collective resident will be providing the
spacial designe for the
evenings event in collaberation with clonk visual
artists we hope to find
quite an amazing transformation of the now legendary
beverly tavern.
neil wiernik - video [clonk]
it has been well over 2 years since neil [aka naw] has
presented his
visuals with in the context of a clonk event. saturday
night neil will be
presenting some of his glitch video [a similar image
process to what he
does with sound] works for our viewing pleasure.
