The experiment is complete.
Maniac Industries is officially harvesting email addresses from at least
ambient@hyperreal.org and idm@hyperreal.org probably other lists as well. I
received 4 spam messages from this company just moments ago sent to
precise@staticbeats.com , ambient-list@staticbeats.com ,
idm-list@staticbeats.com , and static@staticbeats.com The first two were
used until I couldn't take all the spam I was getting anymore. Now the
latest two are getting spam - and I only use them for these lists.
I have received a steady flow of spam from these guys (all with the removal
options below - which I have followed) over the course of the past year.
I'm not exactly sure what kind of recourse we have here but at least let it
be known where this crap originates from.
