Peanut Butter In My Phat Pants a lame play in one act by Andrew Hime [Scene opens with three people, nattily attired, around a circular table in a glass office. They are having a meeting.] Female marketing droid: So, you see... ravers crave fresh new things all the time. If you can reach them in a way that seems non-threatening and non-patronizing, then you can get them on almost any proposition. Just look at the Ford Focus. It works well for cars, anyway. Male marketing droid: You're so full of shit we need a sewer tap in here. Ravers hate new things. They can't stand to see outside of whichever mindless micro-genre they are stuck in this week, to the exclusion of all other things. They hate variety or anything that doesn't do what they expect. They're 16-bits short of clasping their hands to the side of their heads and shouting "Oh no!" in cute little voices. Female marketing droid (clearly exasperated, to VP droid): Do you know what the fuck he's talking about? VP droid: Not a clue, but that's not the client's concern. If the client says we get chocolate in their peanut butter, and peanut butter in their chocolate, then we make a mess. After all, they pay the bills. Bombard them with hi-res fliers full of trivial crap! cosuardstockapaloozathon 2002 fest is an annual event. It will be Friday May 24th through Sunday May 26th, also known as "Memorial Day Weekend".
