Funny, on the psytrance mailing list, idm gets mentionned now and then, but
this is the first time I see psytrance mentionned here.
Just to add that psytrance has (most of the time) nothing in common with
cheesy anthems.
By the way, it's wizzy noise - cyclotron.
And since you've mentionned iboga, be careful of their latest offering
(mixture) because it's quite far from their usual style and heavily house
influenced.
As far as recommendations go I could add a ton of names, because I'm a
mainly a psytrance head even if I enjoy idm more and more, but here are a
few more in the techtrance dept :
X-Dream - Radio (absolute must-have)
The delta - schizoeffective
Organic Noise - Vacuum Tube
Magnetrixx - Tritschall
Beat Bizzare - Lewd
Noma - Navigator
Zerotonine - Cygnus Loops
First album of wizzy noise (cybermancy) is good too, but cyclotron is
better.
and a few comps :
Halluci-nations (tip world)
9 Pills (neurobiotic)
Progopoly (plastik park)
Electrosect (atomic)
Sixth Flight (Flying Rhino)
And for more information, check www.psynews.org even if it has become a
little messy with the growing number of visitors.
