Was hoping someone could help me with this question... Who is that singing/plaing guitar in Fog's Pneumonia? It sounds terribly familiar (almost like Neutral Milk Hotel), but I just can't put my finger on it. Can anyone drop some science on me? Also, could anyone give me some recommendations on similar stuff? The only things I've heard that were similar are Cex's 'First For Wounds' and Capitol K's 'Pillow'. I really like the mix between acoustic guitar and the electronics...thanks! I sort of assumed that it is the guy who is Fog - i.e. isn't it a one-man project, with one guy doing everything? I haven't heard anything from the album except that track, so I can't say for sure, but that's the impression I've gotten.

Several recent releases from Morr Music and City Centre Offices have featured electronic/guitar hybrids (although not always with vocals). Check out the Static album "Eject Your Mind", it's quite good. And watch for the upcoming Herrmann & Kleine album "Our Noise" - lotsa guitar & some female vocals on there. The singer in Fog's Pneumonia is Andrew (the original singer, guitarist, DJ of the Fog) Just a little background... the Fog was a one-man, 4-track made CD by DJ Andrew in Minneapolis, MN. HE then went out and found himself a band. If you get a chance to see them, do so! They are great! Also check out LifeSucksDie Magazine.
