Creative's new Soundblaster Audigy is surprisingly good. I get 2 ms latency and it's got some nice hw effects too. Got it for about £70, bulk version, at my local computerstore. regards, Hans Jørgen Hoel --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I'll second that - been using it since it came out and it's a hard card to beat. Especially if you're using VST a lot. in my experience besides good sound card it is a good idea to conect your computer sound output to your stereo amp input and listen to it on your stereo as banal as it sound - but a lot of people still use those rediculous computer speakers, those miget, ugly looking sqeeking crapy devices!! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
