computer science. In 1981 he became a founder member of the Pogues, writing,
recording and touring for the next 15 years. Recent works include TILT,
music for Copenhagen town square, various recordings for installations, film
and television and his "Longplayer", a 1000-year musical composition which
started playing on 1/1/2000 and will continue without repetition till
