Attention Canadians: I'm doing some reseach for something that I can't
really talk about yeat, but it could be pretty cool. If you could spare a
couple of minutes to answer the questions below and send your response to
me OFF-LIST at greg@stainedproductions.com, I'd really appreciate it.
1) Where do you live?
2) How much money do you spend on IDM/electronic music in an average month?
[you can skip this one if you're not comfortable mentioning the amount]
3) Do you buy the majority of your IDM/electronic records and CDs via mail
order (online or otherwise), or from a "real" store? Or is it a fairly even
split?
4) What percentage of your IDM/electronic purchases are new releases (i.e.
the last few weeks) versus back-catalogue?
5) Are you a "buy it the week it comes out" sort of music buyer?
6) Do you tend to pre-order new releases (assuming your shop or mail order
service offers this option)?
7) Are there any labels that you buy most or all releases from? If so, what
are they?
