So I went to see Mogwai in Belfast the other week, and they (the band) had made a tape/cd which they played before they came on. Anyway, it started off with the Tom J sample in Drukqs, the one that goes "Come on you c*nt lets 'ave some Aphex acid", sped up slightly and looped for a few minutes before some other song being mixed in. It actually sounded very musical in scary sorta way........ Also, because it was Belfast, the last song on the tape before they played was Teenage Kicks and the first song played after the performance was Alternative Ulster. Top notch. The gig was amazing as well. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
