. O.S.T. "DEATH NOTICE" phthalo 23 phthalo/thousand it has some beats though but it's mainly beatless and the most satisfying :) these are pretty relaxing and beatless ambient stuff, so maybe that's the best for you... . JOCHEM PAAP "VRS-MBNT-PCS 9598 I" PS 08/94 fax . JOCHEM PAAP "VRS-MBNT-PCS 9598 II" PS 08/96 fax . JACOB MANDELL "HEALING" kodama001 kodama of a bit older stuff than substrata i really still play a lot : . FRED GIANNELLI "TELEPATHIC ROMANCE" sahko-011 sahko (from 96) classic stuff! really relaxing . ANTHONY MANNING "CHROMIUM NEBULAE" 56irdaev3 irdial-discs (from 95) definitely beatless and relaxing for me :) . SEED "VERTICAL MEMORY" RBADCD12 beyond a bit beats, but really relaxing i would really like to see more recommendations in this vein as well bye rob --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Some recommendations : - Oren Ambarchi // Suspension // Touch : already mentioned but indeed very beautiful; very different from his previous work, now a bit like Fennesz but warmer and more relaxing - Stars Of The Lid // Tired Sounds Of // Kranky : double CD of pure melancholic beauty, probably their best work yet, listen to this late at night falling asleep - VA // Aurora // Merck : not entirely "beatless" but nevertheless very warm sounding, one of my favourite ambient compilation cd's of lately - Esa Ruoho // Spaces // U-Cover : haven't heard this one yet but it's on my wish list; compared to Biosphere so probably worth checking out ...
