Wonderfully tricky to categorize they are.. their stuff fits into that whole ~scape newish dub movement, but on the other they are working some really wonderfully playful percussion programming the puts them slightly left of centre of that muted camp. As for the releases, they have an ep on leaf and the most recent ~scape comp is worth tracking down just to hear their contribution. Anybody know of any other releases? I'd like to track them down.. ~g -- Greg Smith http://www.technowest.org http://www.laiad.com http://www.mediawhore.cc <-- site launch Jan 1/02 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

what do you guys mean by the leaf ep? would that be "the rhythm! the message?" nobody has yet mentioned the full-length on leaf: "i don't either." i would actually avoid this one and instead pick up the leaf "osmosis" compilation, which includes the best track off the LP (imho), along with "the rhythm! the message?" which sounds like timbaland meets bouncy, funky, stripped-down house. good stuff. hope that helps, nub --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
