Cleaning out my giant archives of old and now useless magazines, I came across this interesting bit, from In Formation No. 2. A "review" of a Teletubbies CD; "They're quite an achievement in sound. When was the last time you listened to music that successfully integrate jaw harp, banjo and suction sounds? Or water splashes, boings and giggling? How about babblings ornate enough to fuel an entire upper-division linguistics class? Despite the attendant irritations, I can't help mixing Teletubbies tracks onto compilation tapes alongside Coil, Aphex Twin and Karlheinz Stockhausen." Haha! Babblings ornate enough to fuel an upper-division linguistics class? Can anyone say Autechre and Aohex track names? -- forel elitist fuck --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
