I just discovered Barbara Morgenstern's album "Fjorden" and I find it really nice... I think she has also made a remix for Console on their Console Yourself album. Does anybody know about her other releases ? Why is there so much aggression and flaming going on with this list? It's like if everyone has something to prove, or an ego to defend-- very male. Geesh, and here I thought I was listening to interesting music. Like you said: typical male stuff i guess... If there would be more women on the list (or for that matter: in "music" generally) i think words would be a bit more selective and probably more profound. Males always have to make a competition of everything: that's the way they are raised/grew up (exceptions are there to proof the contrary). I'm a male myself and lots of time i have to restrict myself to not comment on something. I have to say that I really enjoy it. Not really the 'fuck you' and whatever else totally irrational and lame that comes out... but the arguments. For the most part, its interesting to hear what is going on in the heads of other humans and I muse at it, although not having a reply of my own.
