12 albuns??!!! Are you going to work more than 10 hours today?? And I hope you don't get a cold, being all that time in the freezer in order to keep cool ;) I have two albuns to listen today, but none is idm ;P Radiohead "Kid A" and The Angels of Light "How I loved you" (amazing). Well, 9 to 5 is 8 hours, and then figure in about an hour travel time each way on the subway, and you have about 10 hours. Still, no, I don't always get through everything I bring. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! I read somewhere that they are in the process of dealing with the leagal issues of the samples they used and that that is all they are waiting on, but they do have a new album just about to be released. I heard it was suppose to be nothing like what they have done before. I think it was a letter from someone on this list, I don't remember. on 5/10/01 8:51 AM, Adesh Deosaran at adeosaran@plumbdesign.com wrote:

Well if you're happy, I'm happy. What's making me happy at the moment is the insufficently-cool-for-this-list comp, Ars Antiqua Remixed on Atomcandy. Eleven artists remixing music from the thirteenth century. It's a bit uneven, with some of the artists not really engaging the original material but simply laying dance music down around it.But when it clicks, it really gets me going. Of course, that might be nothing more than the fact that about a lifetime ago I studied medieval music history. In any case, it makes me happy. And that really should make you happy, cool or not! - Bob

Unless I pop in a CD later, most of my day is gonna be spent listening to a random list of MP3s on my network drive. I generate a random playlist and then listen to it, and pick up where I left off the previous time. Usually I don't get more than 400 or so down before I generate a new one and move on. Today, I'm at 656. Aphex Twin from a Peel Session doing "Radiator" with beats. Next is Sebadoh with "Too Pure". I'd attach the whole thing to the list, but I think the list rejects attachments. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Well, my daily playlist consists of tuning into the StaticBeats webcast. Useless as it is to post that info to the list Im including it for the simple fact that several songs keep coming up that I'm really enjoying. Amazingly enough they are all coming from the recently received Couchblip! compilation. This is great stuff. At some points it's even reminiscent of BOC. In case you don't know Couchblip! is a new Australian-based independent electronic record label. This compilation features three artists: Robokoneko, Disjunction Reunion and Bloq. For more info check out: http://www.couchblip.com/ It's highly recommended ! To tune in to the StaticBeats webcast check http://www.staticbeats.com/ Or go directly to Live365.com and type in "staticbeats" in the search field. Alternately you can tune in with RealPlayer here: http://www.staticbeats.com/sb365idm.ram Currently in rotation: Andrea Parker - Kiss My Arp Andrea Parker - The Dark Ages Autechre - Confield All Tomorrow's Parties Compilation Couchblip! Compilation Autumnature Compilation Quartermass vs. Rather Interesting Compilation House of Distraction Compilation Bip-Hop Generatin Compilation Rapid Transit Compilation Baretta - CDR Bisk - Strange or Funny Haha Bogdan Raczynski - Boku Mo Wakaran Bogdan Raczynski - Thinking of You Cex - Starship Galactica Chachi Jones - CDR Chris Clark - Clarence Park Delarosa & Asora - Agony Depeche Mode - Dream On Remixes IF - Fucking Consumer Michael Fakesch - Marion Mouse on Mars - Ideology Phthalocyanine - Navy Warships Plaid - Double Figure Prefuse 73 Squarepusher - Go Plastic While - Even --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Yesterday I didn't had idm, but today I have! Russel Haswell "Live Salvage 1997 -> 2000" DAT Politics "Sous Hits" The Mercury Program (name of album too long, not idm) err... is DAT Politics and Russel Haswell idm? Is more fbdm (fried brains dance music) ;) I didn't like the Matmos album. Great expectations for nothing, it's simple dance music with strange sources... I hope the new album from Bjork will be much better. Regards César At 17:50 10/05/01 -0500, you wrote:
