yeah, it is Earth--I checked-- I watched the ground last time I took a
plane to San Fran... we definitely did _not_ go into space to get there.
Portland is apparently accessible thru a shed out back behind Seattle's
last outhouse.

For contacts, you might try to find Allon Beausoleil online or contact
him... I think he might have been in this band, if not led it. Through
the mid 90's, he was playing live solo - making trancey-techno with small
sequencer and sh-101 and various portable kit while performing on his
sitar over it. He is at least from the Eugene scene from that same time
and would surely know some names... just contact the band, whoever has the
masters will probably be flattered that youare looking for them... maybe
they'll dump their whole catalog on cdrs for you.
