'hotep' YES! VERY GOOD! Dan the Automater did do the production on the two of these albums, but the 'cuts' (that is hiphop speek for scratching) did not come from Kola on Octagonacologyst, they came from this guy named Q-Bert. Ever here of him, 'IDMers'? And the Dr. Octagon project was publicly lambasted by Keith (see here Dr. Dooom kills Dr. Octagon) because Automater made too much of a deal about the production of the album. Kola did the 'cuts' on Deltron (pop quiz: do you remember what 'cuts' mean?), and they are fairly decent, Kanadian styl-e stuff. Not as good as Qbert, but ohwell. In the future, I suggest that you all remain on topic on this list and stick to crap like "Emotional content of Autechre" or "Loop Based Music" and let the hiphop ride to those who know it. And watch sending idiot responses to those who know, m-kay? You caught me while I am drunk, sick, and tired....sorry if you are huffing and puffing after reading this. And dont clutter my inbox with stuff that is dated and wrong. laerm: reread the original post that said something to the extent of "Automater worked with kool keith on Dr Octagon and kid koala did the scratching...." or something ( i deleate almost all of these idms after i get them).... get your mind right, benine

Please, keep the "you-are-a-narrow-minded-IDM-loser" insults to yourself. There are plenty of people here who know a wholoe shitload about Hiphop and about a billion other genres. And no one said anything about Kid Koala being on Dr Octagon. Want me to send you all the original posts?

Well, you sure don't know Kid Koala, for someone who claims to know about Hiphop. First of all, he's one guy, Eric San, from Montreal, and I've been listenenig to him since before Ninja Tune "discovered" him. Oh, and A-Trak is Canadian too. Does his name ring a bell?

Don't reply supporting incorrect statements.
