Hello, my fellow list members! Well, I hope you understand why I've had to resort to remaining rather inconspicuous, as far as an internet presence goes, all these years. You won't believe the amount of fan mail I've received along the way. With such a large fan base, there was bound to be some rather curious cases who, for lack of a more diplomatic phrase, justified my reclusive nature. But if there is one thing that makes my stomach hurt, it is slander. It saddens me that there are individuals out there that not only cannot get progress beyond the concept of an alias that reflects his/her own imagination, but also must resort to attaching a rather caustic persona to such an alias. I understand such as been the case with my name, given recent threads on the matter. Thus, I am no longer able to continue hiding anymore! Thanks to the rather trusty, "regular" sounding alias "Brian MacDonald", I have managed quite well unto this point. (I do want to thank the good people who operate kuci.org for organizing efforts to have assigned me an account that reflects the above alias. Your work was certainly appreciated by me.) But I must accept that an end must come to every thing. I value my name, and I can no longer cope with false accusations of misogyny. I love women of all races and persuasions. Why, without them, we would not be here today! ;-) As to why I have decided to issue statements to press claiming I am no longer working on music? Well, I'd rather not go into *every* detail of the matter, as I don't want to continue boring the fine constituents of this engaging e-mail discussion forum. ;-) But I assure you, the reasons have nothing to do with being overwhelmed with the love, support, and unconditional publicity I've witnessed from such a heartwarming legion of fans across the world. Words simply cannot express. This is no lie. I love you all. Truly and sincerely. ======================================================================= Richard DiGiorno James <brianm@kuci.org> ======================================================================= --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

You sound too American, dude. You gotta use words like "reckon" or "lush" or "mate" or "sorted", for starters, if you wanna convince anyone that you're Aphex. Andrei On Fri, 19 Jan 2001, Richard D. James wrote:
