That new metamatics 2x12" on Dot (midnight sun pig?) REALLY reminded me of
Plaid, especially if you pick up on Plaid's jazzy/funkiness. I haven't
listened to it too many times, but that was the strongest first impression
- not to say the album wasn't unique in its own right, just has that same
groove/mentality.
(does this qualify as a review?? :)
