Tracks 2-4 on Mauver are excellente. The rap track
gets lame pretty quickly, but that's okay. I mean,
the 1st track of Windowlicker is totally lame but
people let that go since the rest of the EP is
decent. Anyway, I also like Mauver because every
track is in a unique style (1-spacey hip hop,
2-industrialish, 3-electro, 4-ambientish, if I
remember correctly). Anyway, my favorite Bola
tracks which are also some of my favorite tracks
in general are:
-The last track on Mauver
-Forcasa 1-3 on Soup
Those Forcasas are just incredible. I could live
without the rest of the LP, but it's alright.
Forcasa 1 is like my ideal IDM track. Soup
manages to combine nice little melodies with
IDM drums and non-4/4 meters. Nothing too
pretentious or experimental, but about as
"solid" as they come. I know Bola is old hat
but I just wanted to jump into the opinion orgy.
