actually, spelling this out would be appreciated, since the track is actually titled "RETTIC AC" on the cover and all other listings. (caps are ae's not mine )

while i can't vouch for the ezra pound reference, i do know that one thing with "nonsense words" is the ability to have their definition derived both from context and from root-words. musically, it's nearly impossible to use context unless the song has vocals, but the root-word thing works particularly well for recury, because the root is recur, and the song in question definitely is the most repetitive song on the lp. ironically it's one of the best, as well. :) and it's teartear and windwind. the words are used due to their ability to mean two different things. it's like naming a song a purposefully ambiguous title, to mean multiple things depending on your "mood." cheers, /derek --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
