I use Sonic Solutions here at work. Wonderful program. I initially learned digital editing on Pro-Tools (who doesn't?),and Sonic Solutions is very similar. Just different keystrokes for different functions. Sonic Solutions is the umbrella term for some different software, though. I use Sonic Studio. There's also Sonic OnAir. i think it depends on the individual's budget. it helps when you're looking for new programs and like testing them out before buying them, and don't feel like struggling with a [highly crippled] demo. it's often hard to see if you like something if you can't save work and use it in other programs. i use some illegal software, but i'm sure most people don't pay for photoshop either. unless you're heavily into graphic design, in which case you have a job bugdet to pay for it. same with music. once you have a music budget, you can and should allocate some of that to software, especially if you've made your budget using unbudgetted software :) cheers, /derek At 09:23 PM 10/12/2000 +0000, me makes you wrote:
