before i consider putting this on ebay, or even selling it for that matter, i was wondering if anyone was interested in this particular item (well, items...) i have. farmers manual - promopack (from what i've been told, this was limited to 25) includes: no backup (yes, it's the original release) 12" s/t (white label) video (in PAL format with a tiny 'fm' sticker on the front of the tape) glossy picture of the group (it's actually a picture of three cylinders with a very tiny 'fm' sticker on the back) press release notes (in german) paper bag - like material which the entire pack came in (safely stored in a plastic bag) fm is one of my favorite groups of all time, and played a large part in what i now consider music / art. so... i consider these items to be very 'close' to me (for lack of a better description) but i think i'm ready to part. (and i'm finishing up school, and really need money is the what it comes down to) the 12" has been played once. i never got around to converting the video, so i have no idea what's on it. (yes, i'm weird...) no backup is about as mint as you can keep mego packaging. (i store all my mego stuff in plastic bags) the picture has been kept in wraps. everything is minty clean is what i'm trying to say. here's the kicker. the price at which i'm willing to part with these items. (considering how much does not compute went for on ebay...) starting bid is $400.00 US dollars. (not including shipping / handling) yes, that's a lot. a whole lot. (close to insane probably...) i don't expect anyone to say i'm being reasonable, but i think everyone on this list is used to unreasonable prices for 'collectors items' or out of print / unavailable items. (again, this isn't justification...) and i'm not really willing to part with the promopack for anything less. (that's actually my starting bid...) i do agree that making money off a group i love is pretty lame. but i'll put the money to good use and hope oswald and company don't mind. (actually, if they did, i wouldn't sell it....) thanks for listening. please entertain the thought if you have any interest. cheers, christian --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
