Yup, there's a Mellowtrons/Meat Beat Manifesto split on Skam records: (SKA012) 12" 1. Meat Beat Manifesto- Not Playing God (Funny Noises Mix) 2. The Mellowtrons- Bittersweet Synthphony ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

i just picked up tino's breaks 1,2, and 4, in a used shop that catered to "dj's". i have a feeling that they won't be found in "electronic" or along-side other jack dangers things, but they'll likely be found in breakbeat sections, dj sections, and drum track sections. they're not the best things, as in you won't be like "wow this is the best thing i've ever heard", but they're great to shake your butt to and have on whilst you're just killing time. plus it's people making funky beats and obviously having a good time (these guys definitely have a sense of humor, which might be hard to believe from other mbm stuff etc.), which is rare in a lot of music put out these days. anyone have any idea where i could find the x-mas breaks 12"? -derek p.s. the blueman group is really great. i'd recommend seeing them at least once. just keep in mind that it's theatre, and not a music performance or an art show. and the thing they do with the camera down the guys' throat is a tape. they just put it in there and everyone glances at them, see's what they're doing, and looks at the videotape. it's like basic magician tricks (slight of hand), but it's pretty funny. oh, and they play freebird. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
