I booked Varley in Montreal last yer (june 99) and he was preparing the
"Beautifull" album at that time (if you knew Gez, you'd be laughing to hear
he choosed "Beautifull" as the title... long story). It's not very hard to
describe because it sound alot like his past works, good minimal percussion
kinda tech house with a flowing bubbly noise in the back. I really like how
simple he lets his tracks evolve, very efficient for the DJs.
You also see he worked with Marco Carola on some tracks, making them a
little more punchy and dancefloor oriented but still, always very exciting
to hear.
I recommand it if you liked his past stuff or if you like Carola's slower
stuff (the Question series are one of my favorite dancefloor tracks).
