The Balearic Islands might be found if your dictionary has an appendix of
geographical place names that is separate from the common section - they are
in the Mediterranean, east of Spain, and the largest are Majorca (Mallorca)
and Minorca but the relatively tiny Ibiza (aka Iviza) is on the IDM map
courtesy of Paul Oakenfeld et. al - British ravers favor the place on their
hols although I recall a semi-pornographic exploitation beach movie from the
late 70s called "Wild and Crazy in Ibiza" so I guess it's been a popular
destination for a while.

Subject: [idm] The word "balearic"
Some people here used the word "balearic" to describe a certain type of 4/4
IDM electronica. I am curious on its correct spelling as I cannot find it in
the dictionary.
Some examples of this type of genre would be Lucky & Easy, PUB, Norken, etc.
Any help off-list would be appreciated.
Thank you.
