A late reply.. still sorting through 1345 IDM digests! You're probably referring to the lovely "The Wolves Hollow" on Carpark, right? That would be comparable to some MoM, but i think Marumari is a tad "lighter" than MoM's "Niun Niggung" (Thrill Jockey). Only Josh aka Marumari will know where his sound is headed, as his debut full-length for Carpark (forget the name of..) is on the experimental ambience side of the platter. I'd recommend "The Wolves Hollow": top-shelf electronics w/ emotional and audible tech-appeal. Check out Carpark at www.carparkrecords.com Pietro. ________________________________ pietro da sacco:: audionimbus@email.com cjam 91.5 fm saturdays mid-2am (est) 9745 lynngrove cr., windsor, ontario, n8r 1b8, canada grooves:: www.groovesmag.com igloo ~coming soon:: www.skimo.com ----------------------------------------------- FREE! I wish I could be talking about Wolves Hollow but I haven't been able to find it. Odd considering where I am: in Soho - two minutes walk from Berwick Street and Ambient Soho, Sister Ray, Selectadisc, Reckless and the Music and Video Exchange, ten minutes walk from Rough Trade in Covent Garden. Atlas is near here too but I can't play vinyl (until payday anyway). But I can't find it anywhere. If they don't get it in soon I will get it by mailorder. I do have The Ballad of the Bouncing Ball and several mp3s I downloaded from Marumari's site. One of those was very MoM-ish as I recall.
