it's the best idm label comp i have gotten this year...it has everything from aloe vero, melodic and smooth...funckarma, crunchy and cut up...to electro, and abstract/hip hop scratchesque electronics... it is definately a keeper. the dub label is vey good check funckarma's full length, "parts" too. Sounds exactly like the new Toytronic comp, Neurokinetic. That's got Funckarma on it too. Well there's a recommendation for you, meanwhile I'll go out and get Nummer Een. Gotta agree about Parts, it's really very good indeed. Does anyone here have the "Nummer Een" compilation? I just picked it up the other week, and it's a collection of some incredibly beautiful tracks from Dub Recordings. Most of it's like a cross between the happiest BOC chilled tracks and Suction stuff. It's got various tracks from Eog, Phako, Funckarma, Autophonic, Duplex, and Duracel. (11 tracks total) for anyone that's interested, I think it can be ordered domestically from phonics@sympatico.ca Does anyone know anything else by this Dub label? Yes Djak Up Bitch (Dub) is a solid label of Dutch electro/techno/idm/experimental music. Find out all you need to know about Dub at there website listed below.
