It's top top buzz. From memory, 6 cuts in all shapes and sizes (read: 2 short, 2 long, 2 medium). As you might expect, experimental electro acid. Stunningly beautiful and super fly sexy. I've been listening to Electroworld again. It's an LP I don't listen to that often but when I do my god I LOVE it. But the problem is that I want more and I've got no ideas where to start. I do have the other Single which helps but still I NEED more. Aaargh. Anyone got any recommendations for similar futuristic, atmospheric, funky electro. I have all the Drexicya stuff which is a stone throw away stylistically. I've heard people like I-F and others but they are into something different. Grant

Try Kraftwelt's Retroish! It's very similar in style. it's a little less purely electro, but it's definately in the same corner if you ask me. Also B12 and The Railway Raver's Drop acid not bombs are recommended. You should definately also check out Duplex (see www.clone.nl). How about Bochum Welt or DMX Krew? Admittedly they sound pretty different to Electroids, but they're all variations in the electro-field. If you like Drexciya, be sure to get your hands on the Doppler Effect stuff! well, I got it a week or 2 ago, it's not as brilliant as his previous releases IMHO, but still very good. And the packaging is awesome :) Apparently it's not that well distributed as other Hymen releases, I heard there are only 800 copies CD only. As a vinyl collector, I am more than truely disappointed! I suppose that any artist that has a release which is only on cd is not as serious about his/her release as one who puts it out on vinyl, or both. Some of you idm-listers might have a different opinion, but I dj the stuff. Makes a big difference between vinyl and cd, IMHO. my bad, those wax disks were about $10-15 bucks a pop and were 50 mintues for both sides. had to look at my notes from NAMM on that one. Anyways, the damn machine is soooo expensive, $8000. Those cutting machines were supposed to be release late in March. What inside info you have on this one? Don't want to start another "vinyl vs cd" thread, but why should an artist (or label) be more or less serious about their music depending on the medium it's printed on!??? It's still the music that makes the difference, not the medium.
