The Singer has a few different influences at work in it...I hear echoes of
BC/CR but with a more meaty production (featuring more up front kick
drums). It has good melodies and noodling, but sports a type of soporific
housey feel at points. Nice stuff. Involve is turning out to be quite a
label.
