BLEAK OUTPUT is the first solo album by NOON,
Polish beatmaster avant la lettre - the
Polish may already know him through his work
with the highly succesfull hiphop-project
GRAMMATIK.
His solo album contains music build-up and
arranged using the basic hiphop techniques of
sampling and beats. It's fully instrumental,
100 % samples and indeed ! based on slow and
loungy hiphop-beats, which led several people
to describing his music as triphop. Decide
for yourself what you call it, but you'll no
doubt agree on the quality. Strong and moody,
very personal and slightly melancholic,
introspective and minimalist - this is a
record to sit back with and relax.
