Digging it! Downloading the whole Shelf Life EP now. I'm in Seattle and Washington is a little behind Colorado in getting adjusted to the new laws, but everyone seems pretty happy with how things are shaping up so far. BTW, have you ever checked out Communikey festival up in Boulder? I'm going to be out there again this next spring. Much more on the techno tip, but not exclusively. Lots of good peoples involved with making it happen. Maybe I'll see you there this next year :) On Thu, Aug 14, 2014 at 6:16 PM, Jared Dunne <22tape@gmail.com> wrote:

Yeaahhh I tend to float between Colorado and Washington myself, they were two of my favorite places even before the legalization thing. Sure makes a big difference, it's so good have that whole layer of stress off your back, the whole feeling like you're hiding thing. Now it's almost like when I'm in less sophisticated locations I'm cheating the music by putting myself in a situation where I have to be so sparing with the medicine and expend precious energy by being sneaky. Can't wait to be back in Seattle next month. 8) On Thu, Aug 14, 2014 at 9:16 PM, Jared Dunne <22tape@gmail.com> wrote:

Seth, thanks man. Glad you're digging it. Yep, Washington's on it too. So cool. Yeah, Bobby, it's nice to not be considered a criminal. Too bad the Feds still have it listed as a Schedule 1 drug, right next to meth, acid, heroin etc. Idiots. It's funny, after the legalization, the local media was super careful to not lean to liberal with its coverage... so instead they leaned right with their coverage. They opened a newscast, and made this huge deal out of one of the first car accidents caused by pot after the legalization. Some dude was driving stoned and hit a cop car. By the way they were talking, you would have thought it caused major, life-threatening injuries. But then they cut to a shot of the cop car and it had a teeny dent in the rear right side bumper and, get this, the evil pot-head was only going 15 mph when he hit the cop car. There's a stoner for you! But yeah, it's legal, and the sky isn't falling! Seth, yeah I've heard of it, but never made it up there for it. Defo give me a shout if you're out this way for it next year. On Sat, Aug 16, 2014 at 7:58 PM, Bobby West <erothyme@gmail.com> wrote:

Actually Jared, were you aware that meth is Schedule II? Federally speaking, cannabis is actually more illegal. Insane, right? Listened to your track, dig the percussion, metallic sounds with the bells are a nice mesh, clap is crunchy and stuff, sample is funny. Went to follow you and it looks like you're already following me. Small world... or big family? ;) On Sun, Aug 17, 2014 at 11:52 PM, Jared Dunne <22tape@gmail.com> wrote:

That's too funny! And it actually makes sense because it makes no sense at all! Hey thanks for checking out the track. Glad you liked it. Yep, small world AND big family! Actually, if any of my Denver/Boulder peeps want to meet up and/or collaborate, let me know. Sort of done with collabing over the internet.... especially with vocalists :) On Sun, Aug 17, 2014 at 10:01 PM, Bobby West <erothyme@gmail.com> wrote:
