Well count me among the small litter of Colourbox fans... their sampling
and programming was indeed a bit ahead of (and gloriously behind with
their classic songwriting techniques) of the times, and that cover of
Baby I Love You So is one of those songs that will never leave your
head, ever... their singles were all over the map, which made for
interesting but sometimes frustrating listening... but their LP was a
classic... sort of a modern day interpretation of a Phil Spector record,
and only slightly dated sounding now due to the 80's leaden
percussion... I think the brothers names were Steven and Martyn Young
and I have wondered what happened to them as well... all I've found is
this little snippet from some site or another;
