While i haven't really tuned into Broadcast too
much in the past, and without prior exposure
to the "Work and Non Work" compilation released
back in '97, i think i'm ready to hear Broadcast's
upcoming full-length slated for early 2000.
"Echo's Answer" has an eerie instrumental
approach to it (only two tracks) that is very
calming, relaxed and laid-back. It's just too
bad this cd (to be released as a 7" as well
in November) is really short.. [nine minutes]
I probably would have gotten "into the groove"
a bit more had they teased us with a few more
of these luscious melodies and sweeping
beats. [Very nice art-work on this title, looks
like tDR again..]
