erh. the stylophone mix was by vendor refill, not stasis. i've got the cd, maybe the 2x10" is different. anyhow it's worth it for the boc & vendor remixes alone. any comments on the new vendor refill album on nature? martin

The vendor refill album is excellen melodic moody electronica very much in the vein of his Evil Weevel ep released on Nature last year. The 2x12" copy i have is a white label so i cannot list the track titles but some of the tracks sound suspiciously familiar so maybe some Vendor Refill compilation tracks or some of the tracks from the Evil Weevel ep are on there as well. Regardless, it promises to be an idm favorite for 99. btw: i dont know if anybody else was privildged enough to get the new cdr by mr abrahamsson or not, but i got his Stalaktiten Och Mirjam "seminew shit" release the other day and have been enjoying it quite a bit. On this release mr abrahamsson leaves behind the deep percussive techno style of his previous releases in favor of a more playful experimental sound which reminded me of a phthalo vs irdial type sound. lots of deep layers & textures offset by intermittent playful electonics. A nice twist on the mr abrahamsson/bauri style! -->-Lance--- mclance@nacs.net lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states

I stand corrected. Sorry for the misinformation, I guess it's stupid of me to post without having the record in hand.. +odd -- Todd Sines icq: 11117580 SCALE:form | image | sound http://www.scalestudio.com
