Still with the Sonar 98 comp: Have any of you heard the Michael Mayer track "Heaven 1,1"? I'm playing it back to back with Sun Electric's "Quaila" and he's entirely "borrowed" their bass line. I don't have the accompanying booklet and thus don't know whether he acknowledges as much, but it's very definitely there loud and clear. Spotters unite! I *

I don have my Present cd anymore but i do have some thoughs on this one... Actually it may be Sun Electric borrowing from M.Mayer. I believe that Mayer's Heaven ep (which is where the Heaven 1,1 track you have on that Sonar 98 comp came from) came out in early-mid 96 whereas Sun Electric's Present album came out in late 96. Feel free to correct me if my time frames are off.
