hats off to monotonik for their first physical release. lackluster's
'cdr#2' is a true gem. melodic idm that goes straight to your head.
musically, this takes everything that worked with classic idm, taking
out (most of) the trash, & ending up in songs you can appreciate
immediately, without any intricate contextual layerings (what plugin was
that?) 'not that there's anything wrong with that'. the first half
especially is overwhelming. if there's still any copies of that left,
do yourself a favor & hunt one down.
