Whoa, way too old! They are for 2-3 year old children, primarily pre-language. That is why everything is repeated and their is an overexaggeration of body language. Personally don't mind the show, though I do like Barney and Blue's Clues better. However, this week I saw _Grandpa's Magic Toybox_ or something like that for the first time! Wow.
