along the recurring threads of hearing idm in strange places, today i took
my wife and kids to sea world in cleveland as part of my periodic family
duties. walking around i heard some strangely familiar sounds in the
distance.
seems that sea world has added a new "attraction" this year, a fairly hokey
carnivorous dinosaur jungle exhibit. to create the spooky eat or be eaten
feeling, they are blasting SAW2 over there system. it's not just samples ,
it's full tracks. because the system is pretty loud, you can hear it
throughout about 40% of the park. a whole new meaning for background
music.
because anheuser busch is hardly an independent, i sure hope RDJ and warp
are getting the royalties coming to them.
