I've found this to be annoying myself. I seems that they just have to sign every decent electronic artist to their roster. In an article last year in the German rag, DEBUG, Warp stated that they were signing artists from smaller labels because they don't want them to escape to the majors (u-ziq would probably be a good example this). Granted they do have good taste, but there's something to be said about developing your own talent.
