No, it is the Balanescu Quartet. The track can be found on the "Possessed" album on Mute Records. The album contains all Kraftwerk covers. Alexander Balanescu also did some nice work on the last two Spiritualized albums. Jason Pierce, a Kraftwerk fan, enlisted his help after hearing "Possessed." Mike.

If you like Balanescu Quartet, you should also look out for Apocalyptica. On one of their albums they did Metallica in string manner. Greetings to all idm lovers from Serbia! Luigi

info on 'possessed' not entirely accurate - it also contains a david byrne cover and a performance (with miranda sex garden) of an original alexander balanescu composition they work quite well alongside the kraftwerk. all in all, reminds me of early recoil tracks sr -- sd
