For anyone who doesn't know, the Modulations film is being shown in Castlefield this Friday, along with some kind of illuminated bouncy thing. On Saturday there is a corollary event with Squarepusher, Toolshed and Matt Thompson. Ivor Cutler plays on Sunday too at RNCM. On May 29 the new club Planet K opens, with Add N To X, Stereolab and Luke Vibert. Did anyone go to the last Schizm with the "Skam Allstars"? adam

Wow, I've got a tape of some of his early 70's songs/poems, and i haven't heard about him elsewhere. What does he do now? I'm a big spoken word record fan... just found Lotte Lenya reading Franz Kafka on Caedmon the other day... would love to find some Ivor Cutler poetry. Solenoid
