I was looking at a T.Power discogography at http://www.jps.net/btribble/tpower_discog.html for Self Evident Truth of an Intuitive Mind. I noticed that it said "US Epic-Dancepool release adds "Mutant Jazz" as bonus track(?)". Does anybody even know of an American release of this album, hopefully with that bonus track? If so, where can I find it? It also mentions a Japanese release with a bonus disc. Does anybody know about this?

Mutant Jazz is also on Jungle - Sound Of The Underground, on SOUR/Columbia, which I think is a US release. I found it in the used bin, so I'm guessing it's fairly available in the US. Try searching the online stores if you can't find it locally. It also has Natural Born Killaz by Atomic Dog (M. Royal's more dancefloor oriented nom de groove). Does anyone know how many versions of Mutant Jazz there are? Sometimes it's labelled TPower vs. MKUltra, and I'm wondering if that's a different version...

Just what's on Bobby's page. I've been meaning to buy it - I figured the Yen was heading towards 200/$, but the $ took an awful beating this week. Recent TPower appearances: Chocolate Weasel remix on Ryuichi Sakamoto's Anger/Grief - this sounds more like TPower than Choc.Weasel to my ears. TPower remix of James Hardway on Cocktails comp. (Recordings Of Substance/Instinct). I was pretty psyched to find this domestic. The track has elements of TPower's drum programming w/o the mad D&B snares. Can't pigeonhole this track - it's different. I like it. Another TPower remix of James Hardway is on his UK only album, Reshuffle & Spin Again . It's called Theo Steps In, & I haven't heard it yet. New TPower track on The Method: Infinite Methods Of Drum & Bass comp. (Emotif). Haven't heard this yet. New TPower track on Chinese Whispers remix comp (Sprawl ). Haven't heard this either. So, it seems that TPower fans are beginning to find out what it's like to be a Plaid or Vibert fan - gobs of money dropped on obscure remixes & compilations. Che

Spin Again . It's called Theo Steps In, & I haven't heard it yet. I'm pretty sure these are the same track. Doh! I've just ordered a Tommy Gee 12" (R&S I think) w/ a remix of "Drums Of Thunder" by Chocolate Weasel. I've also ordered 2 12"s by Bowling Green on Blue Planet. One has a remix of "Light From A Different Sun" by TPower, and another - "The Receptionist EP", also has a TPower mix on it (hopefully a different one - does anybody know?). I'm not sure if these are recent or not - it's difficult to get TPower info on this list for some reason, so I usually find out stuff via web searches & catalogue searches, and occasionally a bit of dumb luck. Continuing.... T.Power is still active... He has a record out about a two months ago on Botchit & Scarper records... a sister label of Emotif who used to be SOUR.. Anyway this 12" was called 'Dental Hygine' and was a Breakbeat tune, in the same vain as most of the B&S stuff.. excellent stuff though.. He also has an exclusive track on the new B&S compilation 'The Urban Funk Philosophers'. Also the CD version of this has a second Mix cd by him.
